Men's Lacrosse Hikes Over Heidelberg, Claims Share of Fourth Straight OAC Regular Season Title

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced Heidelberg University for its regular season finale in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup inside of Hoernemann Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Student Princes by a 28-3 final score. With tonight's victory, BW has been named the 2024 OAC Regular Season Co-Champions. The Yellow Jackets have earned their fourth consecutive regular season title.

With 133 career goals, senior attack/midfielder Jake Nanosky (Medina) is the men's lacrosse all-time scoring leader. Nanosky surpassed the previous record of 129 career goals, set by Chad Steinwachs '19, with his fourth goal of the game at the 7:32 mark of the second quarter.

BW (9-6, 8-1 OAC) was led by sophomore All-OAC attack/midfielder Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North) as he racked up five goals with four ground balls and an assist. The Yellow Jackets were also led by Nanosky, freshman attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard / Hilliard Davidson) and freshman attack/midfielder Ryan Holcomb (Hudson / Walsh Jesuit) as they each tallied four goals.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, May 1 for the OAC tournament semifinals. BW has secured the No. 2 seed and will host the No. 3/6 seed quarterfinal winner at Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
