QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "The first six minutes of the game were fantastic. We were on the ball in their half, changing the point of attack and getting a lot of players on it. We were probing and finding entry points and it looked really really sharp -- and then they cleared a ball as far as they could and G misplayed it, dealing with the wind and wet surface. It just fell to Farid for the easiest goal he's gonna score this year."
• "Unfortunately, we didn't show much resiliency after that and the game became broken and uncoordinated. Then we scored on ourselves defending a CK. It was a misplayed clear right into our own goal with about a half hour to go. That forced us to change our tactics to chase the game, and although we created several quality chances, we didn't convert."
• "It's hard to be successful in terms of results when you beat yourself, and that's been a bit of a theme this season for us. Results aside, I don't think we got better in this game and that was disappointing more than anything else. We have two training sessions to bounce back before we play the second-place Johnnies. At 8-3 and 4-1 in the MIAC, they are legit and will push us to learn more about ourselves."
