WILMINGTON -- Senior All-American Chelsea Huppert (Bremen, Ind.) hit an impressive .857 to lead the No. 11-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-14, 25-11 sweep at Wilmington on Tuesday night at Raizk Arena.
The Polar Bears stay on top of the Ohio Athletic Conference standings with a 4-0 record and are 19-4 overall after the victory.
The Quakers fall to 3-19, 0-4.
Huppert had 12 kills in just 14 attempts with no errors for her .857 hitting percentage, just missing the ONU single game record of .900 set twice prior on 9-of-10 hitting.
Eleven other Polar Bears had at least one kill on the night.
ONU hit .304 as a team with 36 kills and eight errors on 92 attempts.
Wilmington hit .020 with 22 kills and 20 errors on 100 attempts.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Friday night with a 7 pm match against OAC foe John Carroll at the ONU Sports Center.
