Tommie Men's Soccer claimed a share of the MIAC title with Saturday's 7-0 win at St. Mary's. It's the third conference championship in four seasons for Coach Jon Lowery's teams.
St. Thomas (11-3-3 overall, 9-1 MIAC) has won 10 in a row since a 2-1 opening loss at Gustavus.
Seven different players scored the seven goals for the Tommies, who led 3-0 just 10:00 into the contest.
The Gusties scored late at home on Saturday to win 2-1 over Macalester and secure a tie with the Tommies.
Gustavus also gets the top seed for the playoffs with St. Thomas at No. 2. The Toms will play at home Wednesday in the playoff semifinals (11:30 a.m.).
Lowery's teams are 19-1-1 in their last 21 MIAC road games.
