BW Men's Cross Country Places Seventh at OAC Championships

TWINSBURG, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team competed in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by John Carroll University in Liberty Park.

In an eight-kilometer event that was composed entirely of OAC schools, BW managed to place seventh out of 10 teams, scoring 178 points. Otterbein University took home the OAC team title with 41 points.

For the fifth race this season, senior All-OAC runner Isaac Wilson (Tylersburg, Pa./North Clarion) spearheaded the Yellow Jackets pace by placing 30th in 27:02.0. The next BW runner to cross the finish line was junior Andrew Krupp (Ottawa Hills) who came in 39th place in 27:28.9. Trailing not too far behind was junior Spencer Roberts (West Seneca, N.Y./West), who placed 43rd in 27:34.3. Junior Jose Reynoso (Painesville/Harvey) followed a couple spots later in 46th place and a final time of 27:43.2. Rounding out the top five BW runners was sophomore David Prather (Hardin, Mont.) who came in 64th place in 28:06.6.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the racecourse on Saturday, November 16 when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships, hosted by the Calvin University.
