Welcome to the December edition of "The #WhyD3 Show." This is a monthly show dedicated to Division III and its student-athletes. We will talk about what's happening throughout D-III especially off the fields and courts.

This month's edition was a live broadcast, in conjunction with D3football.com, from Salem, Va., where the Gagliardi Trophy was given to the top student-athlete in Division III football.

D3football.com's Pat Coleman and Frank Rossi co-hosted this month's show which profiled the four student-athletes named as finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy.
