Trinity (D.C.) and Pine Manor have accepted invitations to join the Great South Athletic Conference. Pine Manor, in Massachusetts, will not play any conference members this season, although both schools are immediately eligible for conference championships in the GSAC's six women's sports.

Pine Manor had been a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

The current members are located in Alabama (Huntingdon), Georgia (Agnes Scott, Covenant, Spelman College and Wesleyan), North Carolina (Salem), Massachusetts (Pine Manor) and Washington D.C. (Trinity, D.C.). Following this academic year, Huntingdon joins former GSAC members LaGrange, Piedmont and Maryville (Tenn.) in the USA South.
